    Hi Everyone,

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to ask or if I've done something wrong. I've posted here about twice and don't lurk as often as I should.

I drive a 2006 Tacoma 2.7L 2WD (I believe it's called a 2TR-FE) I've been having a fuel mileage problem so I decided to check the spark plugs to see if I'm running rich. I'm all the way down to the coil packs. I removed the one bolt that supposedly holds it on, but it won't come out. It'll jiggle but it feels like I'm caught on something. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

EDIT: For clarification, I can rotate the rearmost and 2nd from the front far enough to remove them, but the plastic prevents the frontmost and 2nd from the back from turning far enough to be turned.

If I am mistaken don't you just give it some elbow grease and pull these straight out?

Sure enough. I just couldn't get a good enough grip on them. Was able to slip a flathead underneath the bolt hole and pop it up. Just wanted to make sure that was safe before potentially screwing something up. Thanks again

Plugs look pretty good, as did the air filter. The goose chase continues...
