Thanks Coby. I was also looking at those. Seem pretty tall so I think they would work. I'm going to do some more research but thanks everyone for the advice.

I just rescued him on friday so I haven't had him out in the truck yet. I'm sure it will depend on the type of wheeling were doing. I would probably take him with me just cruising some back roads but like out at the dunes or prerunning he will stay home or at camp.

thats what i want next. i need to ditch this 65" for a full size fabricated one. i see that your heim is horizontal at the housing. what are your thoughts on horizontal heims at the frame ? the way my link pockets are mounted its such a pain in the ass to get a bolt through the pocket into the heim. figured i could go horizontal and make it a piece of cake.

I knew I wouldn't regret linking it, only reason i threw the idea around about taking it back to leafs was to race it in class 2000. Now that I have the Tahoe this thing is just a toy and with some of the money people are dumping into 1450s these days theres very little chance to really be competitive with the V6, 35s and 2.5s. #thereal1450

4WD would be a bonus from time to time but unless you're racing something really nasty like ridgecrest or congress AZ its pointless, never going to get used in your normal barstow or lucerne race if you know how to drive.
