I think Fred is looking to put something together this month, a trip down south of Socorro. Probably need to bring it back up to start narrowing down a date.

Looks like I waited too long on the winch purchase. Amazon is out of stock on the M8000-s so can't get it for as cheap as I could have. Now debating on still getting it or possibly getting a VR10000-s or VR8000-s.

    Bummah. :(

Tom, I need to drop both of my skidplates & beat them flat again; would your garage be available for this sometime in the next 2 weeks? I can do it in my driveway if I have to, but it's easier on level pavement. I also need to find a weird, semi-persistent squeak/squeal/rattle sound that is throttle-dependent.

I need to change my reply; I can't go on the 16th as I have my first autocross of the season that day. The 15th would still work, though, or the following weekend. Sorry for the mix-up.

OK, thanks, Tom. I'll plan on Saturday. What time works for you? I'll provide lunch for you as a thank-you, or dinner if you prefer.

1:30 to 2pm ish works fine. I usually hit up the gym from 11:30-1.

    We'll figure out a meal.

I just "accidentally" ordered a winch. My finger twitched on the "Buy It Now" button... :D

m8000-s. Trying to save a little weight. I waited too long. Amazon had it for 786 and Warn is offering $100 rebate. Amazon went out of stock so next lowest price was 860. Still getting the 100 rebate though. :)
