    Congrats Adam!

Taking advantage of Warn's rebates, ordered a winch today.

the M8000-s. Wanted the synthetic to save weight. Didn't feel like spending Zeon money, especially in all the years of off-roading I've done, I've never needed a winch.

PS: did you see what I did there? :D

So I started my intake cleaning adventure on Sunday morning. Today is day #3 I just have a little more cleaning to do then I can put it all back together.
I found a YouTube video on how to clean injectors and they pushed brake cleaner with a syringe through the injectors.(with a 9v battery).
So of course I didn't have a syringe but luckily I had some "smart" water and the tip fit perfect over the injector. Didn't even need the o-ring.

First I made the hole on the smart water bottle a tiny bit bigger with a reemer.(plumbing tool)

Then I wired up a 9v battery.(tied the wires on so they would stay on)

    Perfect fit..

Fill up the water bottle(make sure it's dry first..) with brake cleaner then put it on the injector turn the bottle upside down and hook up te battery to the injector and pulsate the cleaner through it. It took a while for the injectors to perform like they should so be patient. My injectors were so dirty I wouldn't be surprised if that's why I was getting horrible performance/gas mileage.

Doing all of this has really helped me start to understand how things work in the engine.

I took a dremel tool and cut a rectangular piece off the front of the shroud and fished the wires through and bent them down in there. Then jbwelded the halo onto the shroud which covers the cutout

So about a month ago I burned up my clutch really bad. The next day it was slipping and smelling bad and even the day after that. Now after about half a month of normal use it seems fine again. I honestly thought it as toast. It doesn't slip at all, even if I smash the gas in 5th. Think I still need to swap the clutch? Or did I just glaze it when I burnt it?

180k, not sure if it's the original clutch but I don't think I saw it in the maintenance paper work.

If it ain't slipping, probably still has life in it.

You try romping on the gas in any gear? Or shifting at a high RPM, say 4k-ish?

The thing is, is the meter maids don't patrol my neighborhood. My roommate got a ticket a couple weeks ago for partially blocking the sidewalk because our "driveway" isn't long enough to fit the whole vehicle. Its something we've done for awhile and past roommates have done for years without ever getting a ticket. I was standing outside talking to a friend today and noticed some old lady looking over another pickup that had blocked the sidewalk across the intersection and was writing his license plate down and stuff. Guaranteed the little shit stain on society tattled on that guy which ended up with the meter maid noticing my truck along with tattling on my roommate.

I may show up in court just to be a prick. Its been quite some time since I've gotten a parking ticket.
