Just move to 7220ft elevation. It takes care of the need for a mask :p. There is one guy here that uses one though.

haha since I've been counting macros, I realized Subway isn't that great for you. When bulking, I do IIFYM, so it's not all that bad for me. However, I wasn't really excited about the sodium content. It doesn't matter what kind of diet I'm on, high sodium is never good lol.

My sandwich is 1010 cals, 50g fat, 88g carbs, and 48g protein with 3370mg sodium!

I'm happy with it. My days of consistent 6:30-6:40 minute miles are behind me. With no Army forcing me to run 5 days a week, I feel better, but not compelled to move far very fast.

the dude wearing one of those full facial gas masks had TWO girls with him, but I only need one so I might get the "normal" trainer

Anyone have an alternative to pandora?

I would kill to be able to run the Hawaii spartan race.

Ive got a local mud run thats kinda lame but its local so Im going.

Spartan super on May17th and sprint May18th

then some race called the Gauntlet in June.

Im debating doing a 100 mile road bike race in august. I will be doing a trail half marathon and 12 mile mtn bike race for sure though. All 3 and you get a triple threat medal.

I have never heard of filling mouths with water. I would just swallow it right away. When the training masks started to surface a few years ago my squad leader at the time thought it would be fun to do PT with gas masks every day. 90 some degrees out and trying to run with a gas mask just plain sucked. It lasted about a month before he quit trying that dumb shit. Couldn't see much of anything, couldn't breathe, tons of sweat. Just dumb.

I follow "toughtraining" on instagram and saw his pics from it last year. Looked amazing. I cant justify the funds for that though.

    Thanks
I do that already :spy: but I like to hear new tunes also. Pandora always fucks up for me, quits playing, gives me commercials in spanish...

haha that sucks. I only use it when working out and I've got a couple really good stations. Have you tried IHeartRadio or LastFM? I've never used either, but I've heard people talk about them

you had to "prove" that you didn't swallow the water at the end of the run

it was kinda weird, I think somebody got demerits when S3 found out
