So I'm thinking of changing my rear diff cover. Can anyone recommend a good company besides ARB?

 

On Toyota's you do not have a diff cover. The axle housing is all one piece and the 3rd member containing your gear comes off of the front of the axle. The only thing you can is paint the pumpkin if you want change it.

 

Bamf diff skid if you are looking for some beef down there.

I personally have never heard of an oil issue on the Toyota's. If you are concerned though maybe quality vs quantity would work instead?

I just read on 7 news that their suspect for that just turned himself in.

 

My treatments are going good. Driving from the springs to the University Hospital in Aurora and back every day sucks.
Sofar the only side effects I have are being tired after very little activitie, a sunburn in the spots they are shooting me, and a sore throat that is so bad I can hardly eat. I have lost 10lbs in the last 2 weeks. My wife and Dr. are not happy about it at all.

 

Well I could loose the weight but what is causing you weight loss is no fun. Stay strong man. It will be over soon.

 

Yeah, 7 weeks left. But only about 3 of not being able to eat right. Once I can eat again I'm going to put all the weight back on.

I was only looking to change my diff cover cause I figured a little more oil wouldn't hurt, and I wanted to change the look and color of it. I haven't looked at armor for it yet. But if I can't change the diff cover then I guess I will have to go another route.

 

Dude, just looked at it. They want $425 for that little bit of metal. Plus they don't recommend it if you have axle wrap, and I think I have some.
So I don't know what to do.

 

What makes you think you have axle wrap? The skid is from itself not cheap but it is well designed and made. Lots of curved, thick plate that is welded and grinded super smooth. Fits SUPER tight, has a plug cover. Would not be easy to replicate. I thought it was worth it when I bought one.

 

maybe try looking into protein shakes. When I am bulking I drink a weight gainer protein that is almost 600 calories in just two scoops, and its clean calories. If interested I can recommend some good brands and flavors that really taste good.
