    Lumen loss is directly correlated with the color od the LED. Nothing will come close to a white light source. Anytime you go with a colored led you'll lose lumens just because the wavelengths are shorter.

    Not out yet, Rigid will not release something until it's completely perfect. Other companies have released their version of our light, and most have been disasters. Most I've seen have this neat feature where the bar self adjusts its verticle angle rapidly while you go over bumps, how cool is that! ;)

    I've seen them first hand on Rigids shelves so I gotta believe its soon. When i know you guys will know , I promise you that.

    Well that sucks. The amber covers are more yellowish are they not? I'd love to get the amber bulbs but I don't want to only have 60% of light

    Yep, I've had my fill of cheap LED's lol. Now I'm just gonna wait till I can buy the good stuff and do it right the last time :D

    ^Yea that's what I was talking about, I've seen pictures of what, 2 on his truck for the last Baja 1000. I think I saw some other racers using them as well on more recent races....

    I had a cheapo amber bar and it did what was asked and cut through the dust and fog so I could see off road. My 20" rigid will be getting amber covers so I guess we will see. Lol

    BJ has had one for over a year haha, and in that time its been taken off and tweaked plenty of times. One of the best ways to test these is to throw it on a truck that does what 99% of people wouldn't dream of doing to their rig.

    I don't have a pic of a 20", but this is two D2s with the amber covers. They are angled down quite a bit in the last picture. Obviously my D2s don't have near the output as a 20" does, but it may still help you out :notsure:

    The lens cuts down the output by a lot. But it does add a different clarity to the light. It produces less glare with the amber lens on so I feel like I have better depth perception and less eye fatigue.

    I just picked up a set of blue lenses for shits and giggles and it cuts it down less than the amber lens in my opinion. I thought I'd try them out in the snow.

    Blue works really well in the snow. Seen that first hand. The nice thing about the lenses is their cheap and easily swapped so you can stash them somewhere and adjust your lighting to your conditions. Do they cut the light down? Sure. Do you care when white is the wrong color? Nope.

    I looked at the Rigid site and I didn't see Duallys in the fogs as an option. I only saw this: http://www.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/46509. I think that looks a little odd. Duallys sound like a good idea. Plug and play?
