Ok so I got taxes back so it is time for some upgrades!! First thing I need is tires and then I will do a level/lift. So my question or should I say clarifying is, the biggest I can put on without doing any mods is 265/75/16 correct? What would be the best way to level it out without spending so much money I have to hear my wife for months to come? :D Just do 5100's and eibach? I know this has been discussed a lot but still I want to be sure that I am making the right choice before I pull the trigger. If I do the 5100/eibach first which I doubt I will, how much bigger can I go? My friend wants/needs my tires and wheels pretty quick and thats why Im going to do tires first.

So you are wanting to go with a 3" lift? If so the biggest you want to go is 33"s and you will still have to do some minor trimming but nothing a dremel cant take care of.

I would love to do a three inch but I dont want to mess with replacing the uca's and all the pricey things. So the biggest I could go is 265/75 without doing a lift? If I just did 5100's with eibach then I could do a 32?

I think it depends on the tires. I had duratracs 265/75-16 that I tried putting on with no lift an they rubbed when I turned. 5100's set at 1.75 and no more rubbing. You don't have to get new springs if you don't want to.

What do you mean it isn't good to set them at 1.75". You can set them at any setting.

No, it was on my pro comps. Tread was rubbing the little nubs on the mud flaps when turning.

    Bingo

    Different backspacing

Stock wheels would have been fine

Yes, but OP mentioned he's getting rid of his wheels and tires. I just wanted to put it out there that 265/75-16 may not fit 100% of the time.

Same, I have 265/75/16"s on stock wheels. No rubbing. My TRD wheels are 6 lug 16X7"s. I love the Cooper AT/3's :)
