    When I shipped my old beat up Trd skid I used two of those trifold science project boards and just folded the flaps over it and used a lot of duct tape on it. the package store took it and since it was just skid wrapped in plastic wrap and cardboard it saved on weight idk if it added to the price tho since it was a odd shape item. Just adding my .02 cents to see if it helps you out.
