Well, your 16 so that's understandable. Save those pennies...

I understand completely, I'm in no rush on this, it's all a matter of getting John back over to do the install and mother nature to cooperate as we've been hammered over and over with ice storms and weather in the teens...and flu and holidays and and... looking to do the final install later this week.

Gentlemen... after a month of having this posted and over a year of development and 20 pages of posts with dozens stating they wanted this we only have 3 orders.

Unfortunately this level of interest has an effect on how many we will produce which also raises costs. It also gives me pause in creating a bumper for the 2012 and up models.

I'll fill these 3 orders but unless I see more orders in the next couple of days this may very well be the last we produce.

Not trying to be curt about this but it's just reality when it comes to production.

i think it was a bit of sticker shock. I think a lot of people were hoping your bumper would be an in-between from the HWMS and gorrilatechs crap, but your price put you up there, it would be cheaper to get a basic plate bumper

How so? Gorilla's is $545 and the UCWM is $480 but is not close to being the same product (no skid/bash plate protection, no recovery points, one must open the hood to operate the winch)... even though I'm basically offering them here now for $475 and the normal sales price will be $535.

If someone wants a full plate bumper (starting at around $700) then they will typically go buy one regardless of price because that's what they want.

I was wondering what the difference between the undercover winch system and yours was other than cosmetic and weight rating. I saw they charge extra for the recovery points. But you just pointed out some other major differences. You might want to include those on the product page, maybe some bullets under the current description. Just a thought. I also would like to see more product images... But those will come as people get and install their bumpers.

I'm interested in the 2012 version and will post over on that thread about that.

hmm, well UHWMS has raised there price, they used to be $350, on par with you if you added the recovery points, and i think it was people were hoping you would be a middle ground. Cheaper than Gorrilla, but a better product as far as bash protection than UHWMS

This is what I was thinking earlier. It's a fantastic product. One problem may be it's brand new. I think a lot of people want to see first hand reviews/testimonials before they drop coin.

I was and still am interested. I guess I fit the bill of one the "younger crowd with lots of wants"......lol. I will be honest, I was very excited for this "bumper" because I assumed the price tag would be considerably cheaper then a plate bumper. I am not saying your product is not worth your asking price what so ever, I can see that the majority of the work that goes into a plate bumper is still required for your product. I am on the fence for that reason. If I am spending the $500 what's alittle more for a full plate bumper, still leaning towards yours but would love to see more pics.
Another thing I would point out is that excitement fades quickly. I was very "excited" and checked progress on this often. Now it's just another great product out there I wouldn't mind having.

Am I missing something... how is it that $500 is the same as $800 to $1500 for a plate bumper? an extra $2-300 is more than enough to keep someone from making a purchase.

I still can't get over sliders (bolt-on) being sold for almost as much as this product.
