Also try getting some pedialite down. It has all sorts of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes. I mix it with gatorade, however it is flavorless.

 

That's a much better choice than V8, really.

Pedialite probably doesn't mix as well with vodka, though...

 

Im still of the mindset that something greasy and fatty is the best cure. A morning cheeseburger or omelette heavy on the bacon etc.

 

Urgh. Not for this boy. The last thing I need added to a headache and an uncertain stomach is a case of the sh!ts. I'll stick with a big glass of water with a packet of Emergen-C, a couple of aspirin and a Bloody Mary for my hangover cure...

 

Trying to get a lot of Gatorade down. I haven't gone out of the house today, so I don't think pedialite is possible.

I would argue that V8 doesn't mix well with vodka either though I can't stand bloody marys, especially with that clamato juice.

I agree unless I was booting the night before. If I'm just hungover, I go for the greasy spoon special, otherwise it's a liquid diet.

 

yeah, I definitely leave the clam juice out of my Bloody Marys.
My recipe goes

1 shot vodka
1 can of V8/tomato juice
1 tsp of lime or lemon juice
1 tsp horseradish
1 tbsp Cholula sauce
2-3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
1 dash black pepper
1 pinch of celery salt
a stick of celery for garnish (and post-drink fiber)

Works great for a hangover.

 

Yes I would agree with this. I should have clarified. Driving the bus the night before leads to a water only the following day.
