That seriously needs a clear coat and wet sanding. I've used Niteshades on 3 different vehicles and it always comes out looking just like that unless you cc and sand. Three coats of Niteshades is usually enough.

I did a set of tails for my Corrado and it definetly looks pro if you wetsand and clear coat. It's best to wet sand with a couple of different grits of paper and get it down to the point that you shave off the DOT markings on the lights. That looks good, but if you take your time you can make it look flawless!

What kind of sandpaper do you use and how much sanding is necessary? And where can I purchase the VHT stuff? Also does how does the product holdup over time?

you can get it on ebay and i would use 800grit before you paint then 1000 grit after before you buff

Any recommendations? There are a ton of different types of clear cost out there. Which one doesn't react which the Nite-Shades or plastic underneath?

ok so this is the order

    1. CLEAN LIGHTS WITH SOPAY WARM WATER AND RUBBING ALC.

    2. wet sand until dull

    3. Spray as many coats as you desire with nightshades (i did 3)

    4. after completely dry (give it at leat 2 hours) clear coat at least 3 coats

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
I did this about 2 years ago now with nite shades and clearcoat. My lights have faded since then (almost stock looking again.) I blame it on the Arizona sun -- but be prepared to respray down the line.
