Well, my 2010 Tacoma (from Dec. 2009) just clicked over 60,000 miles (the lowest mileage after 4 years of my 3 Tacomas. The other two had around 100,000 miles by this point).

It is having the 60,000 mile major maintenance/service being performed today ($$$) as I had time and money for it to get done now.

I am sure ready for some desert/ Baja style four wheeling!

yeah, I've been thinking about tearing the dry wall off of the roof in my garage and just keeping the cross beams so I could store tons of shit. But I'm not sure how the landlord would feel about that....

I still have all my stock suspension laying around. all with only 10k on it. Just been too lazy to put it up FS....I'm sure once the garage gets too full I'll basically just it away.

Nope... the tranny fluid in the 2nd gen tacos goes to 100,000 miles before that gets changed. This is just a tune up (new plugs), with oil change, filters changed, and inspections and re-torque stuff, oh and rotation of tires... $505 less discount coupon. Since nothing breaks or fails on a Tacoma, I can justify this cost... doesn't mean it isn't a lot, but my service rep found a TSB for the transmission shifting roughness (I once mentioned) and is having the onboard computer recalibrated to make shifting smoother... oh and they wash the truck too. ;)

i would have them service the tranny anyways. i think there was a revised schedule for severe operation to change the fluid at 60k
