Who's going to fix it though? I thought Accurl didn't have local (US based) support?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Not sure just yet it might be a send a check and parts thing and I hire someone to fix it. I just don't see a full replacement happening from that far away but you never know.

    This.

Man, from afar, it looks like it was dropped. But this looks way worse.

There is no way it was dropped on its side there would be way more wrong with it. The worst thing broke on it is the boom arm and the servo bracket all other stuff is just cosmetic. It's really up to how the insurance wants to handle it. The coverage was for about 2000 over the cost of the machine and it cost me 4000 for duties taxes and delivery to my shop so i don't know what's going to happen.

That said the manufacturer replied to my emails as soon as they got into work so that a good sign. We getting in contact with the insurance company to file the claim and get this resolved ASAP!!

    I meant straight down.

If the mfg covers it as a replacement, I would think they would arrange for a pickup of this one and delivery of the new one. I would also imagine there'd be no new charges you'd need to pay.

I'm sure it was the US side as they put it into the container In China themselves before it shipped. Some of It could of been at sea as well we will never know. I know a lot of it happened at the warehouse in Oakland when my truck driver said it was fucked up they said it was normal wear and tear WTF! That's normal.

I'm sure it will bend metal but I'm not even messing with it until the insurance takes care of what they have to do.

wow man sorry to hear, hope the insurance covers it.

I would really push for a new machine, you might not see problems now if it's fixed but they might pop up later.

    What were you using before?
