I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah I'm thinking they did weld it after it was pulled out of the container.

Yeah I'm filing for a full replacement claim it just sucks it's going to be 3 more months to get the replacement. No brake before farmed out the big stuff and the little things on the swag brake.

I don't think it was there is no marks on the top of the machine all are low and tons of fork marks on the brake. If anything was done at sea it was from other things hitting it in the container I don't think it moved at sea. The large blue covers on the top are 18 gauge and not dented at all if it was bashing around those would be hamburger.

Yeah they are built to order and it took 6 weeks for the build 30 days at sea and just about 2 weeks for customs clearance.

The containers are lashed at sea. I would hope, by the length of time it was aboard, that it was in the hold someplace and not moved too much-I just cannot get past how f'ed up it is or that someone decided to repair it.

I hope the insurance peeps take that up with the port.

So Far this experience has been good the insurance company is very helpful. And they are sending some out today or tomorrow to look at the brake and get the claim rolling. We will see how it go's

Insurance adjuster came by yesterday and deemed it miss handling damage. Now I have to get written quote on what it would cost to fix it. I'm sure it's going to be a lot so it looks like I might be getting a near free press brake :D as i will be doing the repairs myself.
