    A new guy! Welcome! :D

And did you see my "spot" by the way Sam? lol

And here is a sexy that my dad spotted in the Springs the other day. Built by 3D Dimensions for the guy who owns XRRA (though it's not really around anymore). It has a Tundra motor.

They are pulling people over right in front of my house. I see the red and blue lights a lot. Kinda glad though cause when i turn I almost get rear ended.

I was looking for your truck in the lot. I know you park over in that area.

to many to list, check the build thread
My buddy got a flat tire on the way to work this morning. First gen Tacoma, we jack up the truck and he takes the tire and wheel to discount to see if they can fix it. They tell him no and recommend all four new tires, he was about halfway through tread life at 7/32nds. He bought four new duratracs and says that upon acceleration it sounds like a crunching coke can!! Any thoughts Toyota tecs?

He had duratracs on it before, and they recommended four new because driving with the one new with full tread life 15/32nds would have been bad.

All the red light cameras they had put in down here in the springs they took out a few months later once they paid for themselves. I still dont know why though.

I would have told them to suck a lemon when they said no. :D

But that's only because I got into an argument with a Discount worker once when all I wanted was my tires rotated because they were starting to cup in the front and he kept insisting I needed new tires and that I was going to crash and die with the ones I had. I had plenty of life left and was waiting closer to winter to get new ones at the time. Needless to say I won that fight. They think they can push me around cause I'm a girl.

I did because pretty good friends with the manager though and would usually take care of me since he knew I wasn't stupid lol. He knew my particular truck quirks and also replaced my wheel locks with nice TRD ones when the mechanics didn't tighten one and it fell off.

If I recall they ruled them unconstitutional or something...but I will say we parked ourselves by one of them during the winter at the bottom of a steep hill and watched cars get flashed as they slid through them lol

So I have been looking into how long our stock brake lines are and since no one knew, I got under my truck and measured. Then I ordered some new steel braided lines from crown performance that are 4 inches over stock. They are very nice, just have to find a place to get them put on. I don't trust myself to get them on and bleeded right.

Speaking of flats, I had one on my truck last week.

Luckily it was a nail and repairable, but since I'm still covered under the off road warranty at discount, a new tire (33" MTR Kevlar) would only have cost ~$60. The warranty on all 4 tires paid itself off in less than 3 months! I highly recommend getting it whenever any of you guys buy tires from discount.

I didn't know they had an off road warranty there.

Check out True Nutrition. They have the best protein shakes that I have ever seen. Their stuff is such high quality you can mix it with juice and be happy. Best of all, it is SUPER cheap. Don't buy their cheapest protein because cheap protein sucks everywhere. but their ISO stuff is amazing.

Not a tech, but I did work for a dealership service department for a while. The mismatch in tires wouldn't be bad for the vehicle and wouldn't hurt it. The only downside I can think of (other than being a little goofy looking) is the vehicle may have a very slight pull in the direction opposite of which side of the vehicle the new tire was on.

crunching coke can? Not sure how changing the tires could cause this

    Yup, :)

Basically says your network card isn't setup correctly. Shouldn't be too big of a deal. Boot it without the cable plugged in, set it up, BAM fixed.

Do you know what the OS is? Older versions weren't as plug-in-play friendly.

I can probably help if you need assistance setting it up.

It covers pretty much any damage to the wheel as long as it's been less than 3 years and there is at least 70% of the tread left or something along those lines.

Not really that necessary for a pavement queen, but its great if you take it off roading. The warranty covers any damage to the tire, on or off road!

Good to know. I normally go through 4 wheel parts and they have a really good off road warranty.

A small handful of select mods.
By chance did they leave the tire stickers on thread? Or did they bend a brake pad dust cover so that it is touching the wheel now maybe?
