Haha no problem, they might be a little long for the 4 runner but you can just cut them down.

Yours are staying nice and warm in the back left corner of the picture actually. They shouldn't be too bad to prep. There is still a lot of the original powder coat on them, but it's pretty crappy power coat. It came off the bumper pretty easily.

So I am trying to figure out how much the insurance company may go to town on my b-hole and wondering if anyone has gone through a similar situation:

My wife was driving to work this AM and takes a particular back road that is quite narrow to begin with. Add in the fact we have a ridiculous amount of snow piled up on the sides of the road and this already hairy road becomes a little more tight. She was going around an almost 90° bend and a high schooler in a Jeep came flying around the bend at the exact same time. My wife pulled to the right to avoid a head on collision and hit the snow bank; the jeep managed to hit the rear quarter panel of her car as well (more like a decent scrape - they didn't pull all the way off the road in an attempt to avoid a hit). All the jeep got was a little road rash on the bumper but my wife's rear quarter panel is quite dented, and her front bumper is beat pretty good.

I'm kind of pissed because she didn't call the cops but she did take a billion pictures and got all the information from the other driver. Is this a case where both parties may take blame?

She says she was going about 10 mph and I believe her (again, a really narrow road with a hairpin turn) so speed wasn't a factor in her part. Just a sucky situation all around.

That's going to be a tough one with no police report to determine who's at fault

Well the interesting part is that the other driver's father is a police officer in the same town the accident happened. They gave my wife's phone number to the father and he called my wife to almost "intimidate" her into not going through insurance. He told her that "what he has been told sounds exactly like my wife is at fault" and that it would probably be best to get the damaged fixed on our own.

Fuck that attitude and I really don't like people trying to intimidate her into doing what they want. I told her to not talk to him again because that is why we pay insurance. Let them duke it out.
