FEELER: Suspension Sale through Headstrong Off-Road

HEADSTRONG/TW discount 3/10 - 3/14

This came up from another thread setup by Mr Salty for the full OME kit and someone had mentioned they would only want a set of coils to upgrade so this one would be geared more towards ANY suspension part (not yet sure if full lift kits will be included or not). I am in the market for some 886 coils. If anyone feels it should be a blanket discount, please let me know.

I still have yet to contact Marie at Headstrong but I want to gauge how many people would be interested in getting in on this before we can set up a discount. It would be a discount (with a promo code) NOT a Group Buy and would last a week. Based on recent sales through Headstrong, we should not have an issue getting this together, I would just have to work out the numbers.

I need a new set of rear shocks and was looking at DSMs website at the ICON 2.0 RR. My rear leafs are showing their age as well and was looking at the Dakars. I really only see package type deals on their website but if they would be able to get me those two things at a nice discount I would be interested. Still undecided on the Dakars, but new shocks are a definite for purchase.
edit: found the individual pieces. I was in the "kit" section for some reason before.

 

I am interested in a set of dakars, and 886 coils. It might depend on time frame.
Probably rear brake lines and bushings too.

Spoke with Marie tonight and got some good information on what we can work out. Seems like this will be happening next week, 10th - 14th but I will confirm everything with her in the morning and send out PMs tomorrow. Looking at overhauling my entire setup with OME Dakars, 5100's front and rear kit, and Light Racing UCA's. U-bolts, bushings, and other small hardware is cheaper from another seller but if you could get the 10% discount I would buy everything from them.

 

Im interested for sure. I contacted marie about getting the bilsteins assembled with the ome 885 coils. I was gonna do it during the billsteins 5100s sale, but I could hold out for this sale.

Wait, should we wait for exactly what is going to be the final deal since many of us want various parts or is the Bilstein discount the way to go

 

For anyone here that said they were interested in buying 5100s front, rear or a full bilstein kit, use the bilstein discount I linked above. Those interested in everything else, wait until I post a thread Friday morning with all the final information. Once it's created, I will post a link here.

 

So I'm gonna trust ya and go with the billies today then sometime most likely! Hopefully the coils are gonna be on sale too. You think they would hold off on the shipping and then maybe I could have them do the strut assembly with the billies I purchased through that sale with whatever I may get from the Group Buy?

 

If it were me? Call them up, order the 5100's today before the sale ends, let Marie know you plan on getting the 885 coils during next week's discount. Ask her if she can hold the Billies til next week, order the 885s next week and have them assemble them. They are very understanding and will work with you to get you exactly what you want.
