But you shouldn't take it off unless you have aftermarket coils that are much higher spring rate than the stock coils. Higher spring rate helps counteract the increased nose dive. And still you need to be careful when on-road and at higher speeds.

There are several threads and discussions on this site if you want to learn more.

    A fellow Razorback! WOOT!

If your coils are stiff enough (which these are), they can do the job on their own (on the road) without the help of the sway bar. And off road they limit flex terribly.

Replaced the seals on my oil cooler fixed again after dealer repaired it the first time and it was still leaking.

Replaced the washer fluid bottle, found it cracked with a huge gaping hole after my last dealer repair. Dealer covered 1/2 the cost. Ended up costing me $65 for a new one.

Inquired on the Evap buzzing TSB part #77701-35010 - discontinued. I may just replace the whole unit later on.

    Next up...

    1. Replacing my MOOG upper / lower ball joints I had replaced a year ago with the factory Toyota parts. I hate having to remember to grease the zerk fittings.

    2. Replacing the water pump and reservoir. The squealing is starting to annoy the hell out of me. The guy at Toyota said the Power Steering Pump and Reservoir come together (part #44320-04052)
Anyone know if this is true?

Not sure, but change the T-belt while you are at it on the H2O pump

Assuming you meant to say your replacing the PS pump, yes, the pump and assembly come as a unit when purchased OEM. May be able to purchase seperately aftermarket, but easier to replace as a whole.

I did do the timing belt, water pump, pulleys and thermostat a few thousand miles ago. All the parts I replaced were based on my research on this forum.

    Ooops I meant to say....
Does anyone know if the Power Steering Pump and reservoir come together in part #44320-04052.

My goal is to replace both, since I don't want to have to worry about cleaning the screen in my old PS reservoir.

    Perfect! Thank you!

Does anyone know how to take off the bed on our trucks? Is there a thread somewhere?
    Thanks! [IMG]

    yea

6 bolts connect it to the frame.

you'll have to remove the tail light wiring that is clipped to the bed, and you'll have to undo the the gas filler from the bed.

    just lifts off after that.

I'm afraid of doing that to mine; the entire bed is Rhino Lined. Thankfully, I haven't had any problems requiring me to do this...

    x2 Yep.

No writeup necessary - Just look underneath for the bolts on each side towards the corners and behind the wheel wells.

Make sure you have a friend to help you lift the other side.

And watch the filler neck as you lift up so you don't snag it and throw yourself or your friend off balance and drop the bed.

Haha, maybe I should've said that compared to stock coils with 130k miles on them, preloaded with the Bilstens, it rides like a lifted Cadillac! And that although I've never ridden in a donk, I just can't imagine that my Tacoma rides any worse that they do!
