    I have some friends driving out to San Diego for SB2014, pretty jealous. I have even got an invite to Moab for spring break, unfortunately it is with my roommates, one of which think there sshould be no 4wd trails, anywhere. We don't get along too well. :D

    It is a she, and she think people should walk everywhere. I asked about long distances. Apparently if you can't take off 4 weeks to walk Moab you shouldn't be allowed to go. I like hiking and all... but come one. Oh, she drives an old subaru, surprise!

    -faceplam- I love those kinds of people. Kind of like the ones that want to close stuff entirely to everybody to protect it, but never actually enjoy it. Obama tried to do that under the radar to Moab.

    I haven't been to them in quite some time. We used to pretty much live on those trails before the fire and then we went back after they had opened back up. Using "opened" loosely. Bit sad seeing all the burned trees compared to what it used to be, and not being able to cross the river.

    not sure...i remember metberry had a gate at the trailhead, but dk if they close it...

    per bushducks the first reports were in April last year saying they were open...same with 2011 (no reports for 2012)

    We were thinking about doing the gultches; Longwater, Hackett, Metburry, on the 15th. The weather looks like it'll be good too. They're in divide, any interests?
