Definitely go through insurance. And be sure to mention the intimidation.

Not my Ferd :) I looked into that before purchasing. That issue died for the F150's when they eliminated the Triton as an engine option. The new 5.0 has normal plugs.

I'd send it through insurance just to stick it to that guy. Fuck that intimidation bullshit, I can't stand people like that.

If he calls again record the call. That's a bullshit move from a cop.

This happened to me . I was stopped in line to get gas . Truck was in park . Guy in front of me decided he wanted out of line and backed into me . I didn't call the cops . I told my insurance company what happened . And the other guy lied to his insurance company saying I rear ended him. Short story . His company fixed his car and mine fixed my truck . I didn't get any points or surcharges to my plan. But it was a pain in the ass and I will always make a police report from now on.
Hope it works out for you.

And if you do file a police report, call the Staties, not the local cops to avoid it getting back to that guy directly.

Surely by now word of my exploits has spread far and wide

Damn, that's quite the interest rate. I'm glad you don't hold my mortgage!

Agreed. I'd also definitely mention to the insurance people that they've been contacting you. If they call again, tell them your insurance company is handling it and that you won't be taking any of their calls any more. If they keep calling after that you can probably get them for harassment.

Yup yup. Some 17 yr old backed into my Oldsmobile at the pump before. Left about a 3 inch gouge. Had he been normal I probably woulda said forget it. Kid was a total douche, had to show him the damage and he just shrugged and said "oh ok so you want me to do what?" with an attitude. Cocksucker got to deal with the police and explain to mommy what he did to the car, plus got a surcharge. $300 coming my way.

Right after Linda's truck got out of the body shop someone cut me off getting in line for the pump. He got his when the guy in front of him backed into him and fucked up the whole front end of his car. I rolled the window down, leaned out and just laughed as loud as I could..pointing to make sure he knew who I was laughing at.

Shit like that makes my blood boil. I also say send it through insurance and let them figure it out. That also says a lot about him as a cop; total d-bag. As others have mentioned, dont make contact and let the insurance company know the dealings that have happened.

Just finished my extended rear brake line and bled the brakes. It was surprisingly easy. No more worrying about maxing out the brake line mall crawling.

The all pro extended line is just about double the stock length, and nice and shiny
