I know that, but they require you to have homeowners' ins to rent that lens or they place a hold on your CC for the cost of the lens

Does your school have a CPS membership? You could look into that.

I got some Canon email today. They are giving an instant rebate on the 60/70 D. For the 60D Body or EFS 18-200 or EFS 18-135, the rebate is $200. The 70-300 combos are $450 rebates.

The 70D body, EFS 18-135, and EFS 18-55 are $100 rebate. The others are $250.

I just got the email, also. It says, "Starting this month. . ." so I'm sure it will come sooner or later. That is really lame. Oh well I guess.

Not worth it to make a Yahoo username and password real quick? Or am I missing something that requires more of us?

What alternative would you go to?

That's what I did when flickr had a limit on how much you could store. After a few weeks of using shutterfly and photo bucket I went back to flickr. Plus I already have a yahoo email. Hell I have like 5 email accounts all used for different stuff. BS, Stores, Communication with Humans, and work.

    Too long to list :D
From what I understand, the 7xxx's have a lot more customization options when compared to the 5xxx's. For me custom menus and button layouts are worth a little bit extra, and if costs are the same I'd be willing to take a few MP less for those buttons and menus :D Multiple card slots and partial weather sealing is worth it for me too!

Granted I'm not too well versed in the ways of Nikon, but I do know enough to be dangerous.. I do have a D100 that takes amazing daylight photos, but I don't like it because its so old. I'm sure if I got my hands on a D800 I could be convinced to give up my 7D

I have 2 email accounts. One for school and a gmail for everything else. Hosting them on my own server is a better option anyways. Ill just set up a simple page for my friends and fam to be able to see.
