I think we're going to get up there on the 15/16th if anybody is down. Planning to cruise up there late morning/mid day on sat, wheel a bit, ride, camp, ride a bit on Sunday, then cruise back Sunday afternoon...

Anybody in? I haven't bombed the downhill trail here, but I know it's fairly gnarly. However, as long as you've got good brakes, you can go as slow as you want... :)

I think I'm in. The wife can't make it. She is doing her CPR renewal stuff for teaching. Hopefully we get some more people.

Fuckya! I was gonna say she's totally welcome, but so far it's just the fellas on this trip. My wife was like "umm no thanks! It's cold at night!" Lol.

There will def be more family oriented trips in the future.

U gonna have your RTT by then?

Okay, okay. But you started it!!

Thanks! Yeah I love that skid. Fit perfect with my bumper and looks so clean. It just wouldn't be right to have some janky peice of tin foil hanging out underneath that badass bumper.

Damn that is a clean rig!! Sick tent too, I bet you're freaking pumped to go use it! Where u at in those pics?

As for the trip, I haven't really nailed down details yet, still in the planning phase. I think we're ok without creating a whole new thread, I mean I don't mind If we do, and the more the merrier, but I think between this thread, the NorCal wheeling trip thread and the NorCal MTB thread there's enough spots to hype this trip! Lol

As far as details, I have to run it by a few of my non-TW homies (gasp!) and see what works best.

I know I have a quick thing I gotta do in the AM, so I won't be leaving Petaluma until around +- 11am. (hopefully before then, but i want to be realistic)

Some of my other peeps have been talking about going up Friday, or super early Sat. So I'll probably try to coordinate a meeting place on the valley floor at Pillsbury. You are welcome to hang around and caravan up with me on sat, or smash up there early and meet up.

Camping-wise I'll have to double check but I think it's free range up there, I know they have some more developed sites but I'm fairly certain you can set up shop wherever. I'll ask Chris (CmJ) he's stayed up there a few times recently in his RTT.

Ok. Maybe we should throw all this in a different thread! How about we move the info over to NorCal wheeling trip thread, and I'll make a post with some of the deets.

The wife and I work. We own 40% of our home. No kids. So it's the time in my life I can spend alittle crazy. I think I'm done for a while but I've been saying that for awhile so we will see.

Sounds good. I'll plan on heading up with you.

It's been a while since I looked it up but in a National Forest you only have to pay to camp in developed campgrounds.
