I don't have any hoop bracket thing on the top of the diff. Got a picture? I just routed it like the stock line, which just goes from the little hardline junction thing on the diff to the frame mounted hardline bracket. Where were you getting rubbing?

Ever since I moved to Mass in 2008 I always crave clams casino pizza, which is my favorite. Barely anyone has it up here for some reason, most don't even know what it is, and I always get a funny look when I ask if places have it. Where I grew up in CT everywhere had it.

If I needed a full size I'd jump in with both feet and get a 3/4 ton with a diesel.
Of course, I'm a sentimental idiot, so I'd probably get on Ebay and buy a 1st gen Cummins in an old Dodge from out west for too much money.

Some of the new diesels are just as ridiculous. I saw an ad the other day for the new Ram 3500; that thing's rated at 30,000lbs towing.
I'm pretty sure that truck's rated to tow more than everything I own, in terms of weight.

Nope. Sounds good, except for the clams.
Seriously. I live in Maine. You can't get away from clams around here. I've tried clams cooked 100 different ways for nearly 30 years and still don't like them. Putting them on a pizza would just ruin the pizza for me.

I dunno man... it's a hell of a lot easier to push a Huffy than a Dodge and you'll probably have to either push or have it towed more frequently

If you want to see some cool real world towing tests go on youtube and search for the ike gauntlet. They use the new trucks to tow an old lincoln up the eisenhower pass out in colorado. It really taxes all the trucks. Be warned though, each video is like 20 minutes long. Here are all the results.

That's scary man! I hope the video is good enough proof. There has to be at least one other person who has dealt with this issue. What concerns me is what years of the 1GR this might affect. I should be good though, I'm pre-dual VVTI

20 minutes of fairly boring guys, too. They're definitely not the Top Gear team...

I watched a lot of those videos when I was truck shopping. The ones I saw, the Ford Ecoboost pretty much took the show but I didn't see the Tundra in any of the test videos I saw. To be fair though, I was really only considering the F150 and the Silverado so I didn't really search for comparisons that included the Tundra, Titan and Ram. I'll watch the videos you linked to tonight, they're pretty cool torture tests!

There is def a bias toward the American trucks. They complain about the tundra not having a integrated brake controller, and it seems they didnt even use an brake controller for the tundra. The trailer brakes are like 80 degrees while the truck brakes are in the hundreds.
