Too bad you aren't in the area anymore. I'd help you get your CVs re-booted.

    :pout:

New inner seals and a new carrier bearing too, right? :)

I would still buy a new set, don't know which ones I want yet though. I want to buy some with high angle boots already installed, then throw some high angle boots plus the boot slide mod on my OEM ones for spares.

Yeah, I just did the boot slide mod. I've thought about the Lotus CV axles or possibly going locking hubs (especially since I think it is getting near time to do the wheel bearings). I have had to start being judicious about which mods to do. Maybe after I get a house and tool up the garage I'll dive in to some craziness.

I just stuffed an ear plug into the cherper's hole. It's pretty well muted. You can hear it from about 5 feet away.

So I have a 4"X24" TOYOTA tailgate decal waiting to be put on. Probably won't get around to it until Sunday morning. Hope it will not look cheesy :D

I am very jealous of that synthetic line... My cable is so jacked up I know it is going to kill me. My uncle had used it by wrapping the cable around a tree and hooking the hook to the cable. :frusty: He did this more than once as you can see where the line is permanently bent out of shape. When he gave me the winch to put on my truck, the yellow tree strap had never been taken out. more :frusty::frusty:

And those bends make it impossible to wrap up the line neatly, which drives me nuts.
