I did not add guessets...not yet.

I will gusset the motor mounts from the frame though. As in the mounting points that the Bomb proof mounts bolt too.

Tranny one i don't think needs any more reinforcemnet.

That said, was a PITA to do those stupid motor mounts. WAY harder then i thought it would be. Didn't notice a big difference really either other then a much bigger shudder throughout the full body when starting off in 1st gear. Other then that feels the same too me mostly. Does grab a bit harder though.

So not sure its a thing you'd want to do to a DD truck. Id probably go back to stock if i was still DDin Frank. Even though i would hate to cause it just sucks to unbolt and bolt in new motor mounts..haha

Mt. Hood mounted and loaded. I do want to have a wind visor of some sort to break the wind a bit, the rack itself did not change any mileage. Tent on the rack I lost 1.5mpg.

Movement from the monte is normal..they are supposed to. That way you don't feel it. Otherwise it transfers the energy into the frame more.

Tranny is easy. 4 bolts on bottom of the mount and 4 on the tranny. Very easy to get to.

    Motors.....not so much. Haha

Cody, rig looks great man! You take it offroading on a trail while you were out?

I think that bed rack over the cab set up you have is just outstanding. love the design. overall awesome build but especially love that rack. Would you mind if I copied the design for my truck?
