Rattle trapped the cab. Got the doors and back completly covered. Used the left over to do as much as the floor as possible.

A couple of weeks late now, but I saw a Tacoma stuck in the ditch, two wheels just off of the shoulder. Asked if he wanted a pull, got him back on the road with no drama, refused payment and continued on my commute. It's always nice to have the gear to be able to help.

He was on BFG ATs on icy roads. Didn't stand a chance, IMO.

Definitely on my to do list. My only concern would be putting everything back together correctly. Looks awesome!

I win. What turned out to be a cheap simple upgrade turned into a nightmare. But the stubborn one always wins. Installing d-rings into the bed, on bolt closest to the cab the torx head stripped. I cut it down for a socket. Didn't work. I tried freezing it, heating it, then said f-it. I trimmed it down and took the entire bed off. Then ground the bolt off. Nut was rusted solid onto the bolt.

trying to decide what to do next... keep current truck and upgrade suspension ( has 188,xxx kms) or sell and invest in a newer (white) taco.... thoughts?

    also

what kind of milage are you getting in the snowy areas? I'm only getting about 300km maybe 350km to a tank in the city and not in 4x4.... normal?

Black Sand Pearl factory paint - flattened "au natural" by tree branches.
I get the same mileage lately. 18l/100km usually and that's 95% highway.

If you like to off road, keep the old gal and you won't feel so bad about scratches and dents. If you don't off road get a newer one and enjoy the creature comforts. Mine has 220,000 and still feels like new.
