Nice I'm going to always keep this little beater but when I pay off all my other bills I plan to get another truck and this is r he color just not sure if it will be the short bed or long bed. I'd like the long bed tho, but wheelbase is wide turning radius would probably suck balls.

Nice trucks in here. I just got an 08 base 5 lug 6 months ago and had no idea of the potential the thing had. I just bought it because it was a low mileage 08 base model that's good on gas. Definitely taking a lot of notes from you guys. Thanks for sharing the info with the masses.

I'd be interested to hear if some of you could do it over again if you would do the exact same thing or if you would do anything different as far as your builds go.

Well I wish I hadn wasted the money lifting it, twice. If they had been released prior I would have gone straight to coil overs up front. Lastly, I wish I had my rear fenders professionally rolled. That's about it.

I have to say you have one of the sickest trucks I've seen. I have followed a lot of your build (been lurking for a while). If I could get my truck to look half as nice as yours I'd be happy.

I'm still trying to figure out how low I want to go. I want to be able to use my truck as a truck when needed but at the same time they look way better super low. Decisions decisions.

Thanks man, been quite a journey with this truck. This is why I want to link the rear. I lift it up and stiffen the rear when I need to haul big shit. I have had a 2RZ, stand, and misc parts in the back, I have hauled twin Dana 44 extended axles, and my welder with various tools. Done alright thus far at this ride height.

Damn that is pretty good. When I get a game plan down I start a build thread. Linking the rear would be the way to go. Was going to do that on a 69' chevy I had for a bit.

Sorry for derailing the thread here. Nice trucks everyone and I apologize for not having a pic to contribute yet. I'll be back tho

    Square G6 wheels, lowering springs/blocks.
Thanks man, pulled the cover off the rear end and found nothing out of the ordinary. Seems to be driving fine now, so I'll just drive it til the wheels fall off!

Exactly my thinking. I know people do it on daily drivers but I put between 20k & 25k miles on my vehicles per year and the last thing I need happening is a bag failing or having to hunt down an air leak in the system.
