Slim's HID Xenon Group Buy! Ends 2/15/14

Believe me it's definitely building! Still same status.. They say packages are randomly picked for this physical inspection and what they are looking for is batteries. They also told me the timeframe can take up to a week (7 business days) for the inspection which is good because we should be complete by now. I'll follow up again first thing in the morning. Sorry for the late 3am update feeding the pork chop his bottle lol.

 

Any chances we might have possible damaged lights or anything from these inspections i.e. inspectors touching the bulbs bare handed??

 

No I highly doubt that. They wouldn't open every single box. I had an inspection before and they open one box and don't move anything out of the box. But in the unlikely event that something gets damaged I would replace it for you guys at no cost.

I know! Trust me it's pissing me off too. No update today and I will be calling again first thing in the morning.

Slim, would you consider posting a daily update so that we don't keep badgering you. I paid for my two kits a month ago today. Thank you!

 

Not a problem! I will post each day with an update. Today I am calling again for an update so I will post what I find out. I really appreciate everyone's patience and want to thank everyone.

Update per DHL today -

"Hello Paul,

The shipment is still under review by Customs Boarder Patrol and once there is an update I will be informed. I am so sorry for the delay.
I will continue to monitor the shipment and provide you your next update 3/6 by 5PM your local time."

I will continue to keep you posted. This is complete bullshit and so annoying. I have never had a package stopped when shipping individually and I think it's because this was such a bulk order. Nonetheless it's bs like a lot of things in this world. Woosahh...

All set aside PayPal only guarantees of purchase for 45 days from the date of purchase is there any updates on the shipment of these items not that any of us want to get stuck eating a purchase.

Guys rest assured that even if you pass the 45 days I can still send you your money back. You won't be stuck with a purchase I will always take care of anything that needs to be fixed. But don't think negatively these kits will be shipped to me and I will send them out the day I receive them. Friday I spoke with DHL and they said customs have been checking a lot of shipments recently and it slows down their turn around. She said worst case it could take 30 days but never takes that long. The shipment was picked by customs on the 20th which was 16 days ago. I would honestly say it could be any day now. I have shipped hundreds of these kits and have done numerous group buys with only a couple shipments delayed but always cleared.

 

Update! Just got off the phone from customs directly. I decided to call and see if they were open and could answer my questions. The agent said it will take at most another week. What happens is customs sends the inspection to an outside agency and wait for the inspection to return. Glad I finally got a straight forward answer instead of all this another day bs.
