Dangit...I just bought 4 new Michelins from Discount for my wife's Kia 2 weeks ago. Got rebates from Michelin and DT at the time, but it looks like I may have left at least $100 on the table. Not sure when this promotion started. Seems to me I could have bought 2 sets of 2 for a total of $200 discounted. Coupon says it is good for 3 uses per ID.

Oh well, thanks for posting anyway. Hope some folks take advantage of this one.

Discount Tire is my go-to tire store now. They've been absolutely great here in GA. Wish they had an alignment service here though.

Experiences...

1) Fixed a flat tire for free while on trip (Kennesaw store) just as they were closing...did not blink an eye to help even though it kept them after hours.

2) Local store (Fayette Co.) agreed to free lifetime balance/rotation of my son's truck (bought used) even though I didn't buy the tires there. I explained that I had purchased 2 sets for my other cars and would be back for more. Manager didn't hesitate.

Fantastic company to do business with. At the top of my vendor list.

 

anybody know when this promo ends? I don't need tires now, but am thinking about buying some to have later.

Hey guys, just an FYI, I've found cheaper prices at 4 Wheel Parts online. Their prices are lower, have rebates, and free shipping!

According to people on Slickdeals, even if you split the transaction 2x, DTD still sends you one invoice showing 4 tires. So you are still eligible for the Goodyear $60 rebate. In this case $852-$200-$60=$592. So it's $148 per tire and DTD doesn't charge but 4wheelsparts does.

 

Yep, just got 4 275/70-17 Cooper AT3s for 157 a tire shipped + $80 rebate for a grand total of $548 off the Ebay deal...

 

What is the $200 deduction? DTD doesn't charge what?
