Yeah. Silas had to limit his steering quite a bit to get his 37's off his frame and then he still cut so deep into his firewall that if he had had a manual trans I don't think he would have been able to use the clutch anymore...

Granted that was on a 1st gen but it is still going to be a lot of cutting!

Bulhas attempted to do it on his 2nd gen and his truck caught fire during the tubbing and burned up... the insulation is pretty flammable...

I did it on mine no problem, but was running LT. Don't underestimate the major benefit of having the spindle moved 1" forward when trying to get things to clear.

This truck clears the 37's with their LT better than mine clears 35's at stock length arms.
The additional forward clearance from the LT makes a huge difference. Certainly sold me on the LT idea.

We still have seen no proof that this truck "clears" 37's droop to bump lock-lock.

All we have seen is at ride height it clears a 37.

I wheeled with him last weekend. Stuffed, tucked, twisted etc. I was very surprised how well it clears. Sure there is room for improvement but it's much better than you would expect.

Got any pics on the bumps at full lock either way, anything less doesn't "clear."

I dont have any pictures, no. I am just stating what i saw, the truck did well with minimal rubbing, much less than most would expect. I'm sure Jon will address whatever needs additional clearing.

It's his truck, who cares. Doesn't need to prove a thing to anyone.
Everyone knows damn well 37's won't fit bumped lock to lock without cutting and a BFH, LT included.

    Then they don't fit.

We are just expecting All-Pro to show the proper way of fitting a larger tire.

Sure it fits. May not fit without rubbing but he's driving and wheeling it. I rub my 33's even with LT, doesn't men they don't fit.

No wayy this truck clears without tubbing. I have Allpro LT on daisy, and I rub on full stuff. Straight or turnings. Not even close to clearing.

We have sparked quite the discussion on fitting 37's. It is no easy task as some of you have realized and tackled already – more modification will be needed and we will be updating you all as we go but...

We want to step back though and kind of clear up the overall purpose of this build.

This is an Overland Style build, not a Crawler. So even though the suspension will get put to work going through rough terrain in the back country it will also be a comfortable daily driver so if you wanted to take a long road trip and not be beat up by a typical SAS you can. This will not be put through the rigors (on purpose) of what a typical "crawler" would which is why we kept this an IFS build with our LT kit.

Here are a few shots going through some trails at TDS.
This was our first chance to really test the rub points of the tires. We will keep you all updated on what we come up with for easy solutions on the rubbing.

When it comes to roof racks on an extra cab Tacoma there isn't many options due to the lack of factory mounting holes.

We knew we HAD to have a FrontRunner Outfitters SlimLine 2 so we talked them into making us a custom length one - we don't mind drilling a couple holes to mount it :)

    Install coming soon!
