A friend and I have 4 between the two of us, great quality - and a solid metal fuel "water" can. IIRC they were around $45/each.

Never quite understood the logic on the Rotopax. They're about 5x as expensive for 1/2 the overall capacity..

That long one is no bueno, it'd look ugly hanging off the bumper... the short 3 gal ones are looking much better

 

yea..but you can fit a 5 gal jerry can easy on a bumper and it looks better..or two 5 gal ones...they just aren't worth it for the hassle

You're right, and with the leak problem solved, as you've done, the direction i should go is simple... I will be going with scepter cans.

Hopefully he hasn't already added the rotopax mounts yet

 

Can't ship them across the border , that's why I said get a TW member in the Montreal area to get you one or two and pick them up when you come up

Still Scepter made, CSA certified (I'm assuming ASA as well) come with a funnel so you don't have to buy a horse cock. And they only run $20.

The only issue I've ever had with them: One of mine keep bouncing out of it's home and landing on it's side. From that position it's leaked once. (temperature change made the 'safety' cap on the back pop off)
