sorry I laugh a little when people in most states complain about heat, almost as much as I laugh when people here say the word "freeze"

It gets hot here in Socal during the summer (120 in the shade at our house last year) but i prefer the humid MS heat (as long as theres a breeze)

I complain when it hits 98 with high humidity and when it gets colder than 65. But I have been here my whole life use to it and never had an inside job, always outside. But I must say I never seen snow, nor do I wish to.

Bad thing about here is there's no easing into warmer weather. We'll get a few days of 60s-70s then it'll be in the 50s for a week then off and on til its 110 in the shade and no looking back til about mid October

I used to live in Florida, and the sea breeze effect you get helps to cool it off a bit. I have spent time in most regions in the country during the summer, and while it gets very hot everywhere, it's not consistently unbearable outside. Now i'm not talking about having to work outside, I just mean being outside. Working is a whole different story, I do not envy you, and humidity makes it tough because your body sweats to help cool itself off, but the humidity prevents the sweat from evaporating and working properly.

That is the worse part of our so called "seasons" no telling when you should dress warm or down to your undies. Especially working outside,I catch myself de robing on my machine by 9am,and by that I mean hoodie, beanie, and gloves. I know I know gloves? Really? But yes because I work in water and that sucks being cold AND wet.

I had ice on my car earlier this week, but in about a month, I won't be able to stand outside without starting to sweat. It's insane.

Yes I LOVE when we get that sea breeze,it's instant relief. But short lived because I'm in under ground utilities and if not on a machine then in a hole at least 5' deep,so no more breeze lol. Now there are times in the summer when I walk outside the house and instantly get hit in the face with hot, stale ass air and know it's going to be a long day.

Another bad part is walking outside and the sun bright as hell and your sunglasses fogging over. Then ya gotta take em lookin like an idiot with your eyes closes to wipe them off

so what's next on my list for my truck...

This is what I'd like to do, in no particular order:
    Behind grill driving lights
    load warrior extension
    hood struts
    tailgate lock
    leveling kit
    drl's
    tires
    hidden winch mount and winch
    new audio stuff

just not sure which one I will tackle next... winch mount and winch will probably be the last though

I'm just glad I was able to go outside in a t shirt today. I had forgotten what that feels like.

Also the snow piles in my yard are only about a foot high :woot:

I have had it for about 1 week now and love this thing, the major selling point was that it's a assisted opening WITH a safety. It keeps my G23 company until I get to work then the gun goes in the center console...because Govt property.

I feel you,I am doing the lift first because I can't stand the stock rake but want to do the lift the right way the first time.

Eff that snow crap,I see enough of it in the news because the north is/was getting hammered with it for a while now.
