Didn't think about the oil aspect,but hunting is what I would be there for if I had the money and retired there. I'm tired of the dogs with horns for deer. I has need for big buck lol.

 

i deleted the last post because I don't think it read quite right. We are laid back yes, but we aren't poor, we have our fair share of million and billionaires. I just wasn't sure if the other guy was saying he would buy louisiana as an insult or not, since he lives in cali

 

Texas has better deer. I love Louisiana, but deer feel like an afterthought here. Outdoor sports mostly center around boats (ducks, fish and gators)
