Any hot deals from truck fest?

Depends on what you're looking for. I was able to get an OME kit and some weathertech visors and floorliners a little cheaper than elsewhere. Some prices are still ridiculous though, such as the bushwacker fender flares i got quoted for.

 

Yes, I am liking the exaust more and more. He had a mean looking Tacoma as well. Tell him I said thank you very much!

Yeah, I missed out today and I will miss it tomorrow because we have to attend a mandatory awards ceremony . I think last years fest was scheduled during drill also.

 

We were able to get Leonards truck done today. Swapped the coils and replaced the rear block with an AAL. We were unable (scared) to compress the coils with the compressor he brought, so Leo and Matt ran them down to a service station nearby. Actually I do that to adjust my coilovers. While on the truck tho.

885 I think, bilsteins set to 0.

 

and that gave him the same height in the front as with the stock coils and billys set at 2.5? is the ride better with the coils? how long did it take?

 

Could have done the LCA method.... But it's done. ..

Gotta take a couple minutes tomorrow to mount my hi-lift with the ATO mounts... I'd anyone has the base where do you mount it??? Or just separate.

 

I've gotten to the point where I can pull the shocks/struts (assembled) in 20min, seems to get easier the more times you do it

I ran a carriage bolt through a hole in the hilift and set it there kinda permanent below the range that i'd need to use the jack.

 

Yep. Maybe slightly higher. The driver side went up a little because we put in a taco lean spacer. Took pretty much all day because I'm pretty much handicapped with the bad back plus we ran into a few bumps, like this one vvv

We tried, but for some reason, the top nut was super hard to turn, and when we got the nut almost to the top, we had nothing left to hold onto to keep the shaft from turning. So we could not get the top nut off
