    This may have been the worst truckfest yet! I did walk out with a pair of ARB chairs for $45 each, but after I got home I noticed on was broke... Looks like I will have to pay the shop a visit next week.

    In need of $$$
    You can take your old assembly out using the method with the LCA. Instead of taking off the middle spring bolt you would loosen the regular (3) top mounting bolts. The whole assembly would drop down. Then you could reassemble the way you would do with the LCA method. You would need a new top plate, the rubber that goes under the top plate, mounting bolts (which you would get anyway if you hot the top plate spacer), and rubber crush bushing.

    :)U guys see the 10 pm news? Had an abandoned jeep rubicon stuck in a water hole at Kaena Point. I think the occupants were scrambling at night and also got hurt in the process.

    Roger, operation Roy G Biv is a go..

    Smittybilt makes them, like the ones we used to dig Chris out that first meet. But I didn't see any on the tables when we went there. Can ask? I got mine at the first truck fest and have used them a handful of times since. Real lifesaver that fits under a seat :)

    Miles was telling me that. Were they tourists? Hope they didn't just ruin the fun for the rest of us :(

    Tourist?? When did rental car places start to rent Rubicon's... crazy... hope their o.k.. If it was tourist, just watch for a lawsuit and possible closures... remember that guy that wanted to feel the power of the blowhole...

    Was looking at a set of 275/70/17 Mickey Thompson tires. Guy at the booth tells me that the Baja STZ is 30 off each for the show and additionally has a 100 off for a set of 4 and hands me the blue sheet with a quote of 766 for 4 before tax. Online it's 872 with tax and in store pick-up. When I take it to the cashiers, they tell me the total is 872 same as the online price! Did I miss something - I thought the prices were supposed to be discounted for the show? I didn't buy it but wondering now if I should go back. Anyone have feedback on the STZ or the price?

    On a good note, I picked up a set of WeatherTech Floorliners for 176!
