Got HomerTaco Satochi grill in the mail yesterday...too bad my truck is a disaster from all the salt on the roads. I cant put a perfectly clean part on my dirty-ass truck. I'll hopefully get it washed Friday and get it installed.

Anyone interested in a military trailer(s)? I saw these two parked in a guy's yard near where I live and pass by to drive to school. There are no for sale signs, but it looks like he's trying to sell them because they're parked right by the side of Pleasant Valley and have been for maybe two weeks or more.

I didn't look too close, but they looked like they were in really good shape.

Just south of intersection of Poland (Herndon) Rd and Pleasant Valley Rd.

I know a few guys were talking about trying to get a trip down to Flagpole or something going this spring. Is anyone actually interested in that? I'd love to go, but my weekends are filling up fast through like mid-may so if we are going I need to make sure I schedule it soon.

AKA: I wanna go to Flagpole but I'm not about to go by myself.. Who wants to go and when? haha

I do have a way to test them. It measures the cold cranking amps and compares it to what the battery is rated at. The tester sends electrical signals though the battery and determines good or bad based on the what it reads.
I wanted to see if there was any interest in certain sizes before I sat there and tested everyone. There is a yellow top that looks almost brand new.
Any used battery come with a 2 month warranty.

Cool. I can understand that haha I'm over this cold. I looked at the weather today though and it looks like it'll be getting warmer soon. Coldest day next week is supposed to be around 48  but yea lets definitely go soon. I really want to see what all this rage about off-roading is. Haha

I also got my scan gauge in the mail today. Something to play with this weekend! Gotta love Amazon prime..

Amen to that! Since hunting season is over I don't have a reason to camp in the cold.

But I would like to get out to flagpole and do some camping. I got a friend with a fronty that wants to break it in up there too.

I heard you have to go through an inspection process for your truck. I don't think type of truck matters. There are some good videos from there on youtube too.

Anyone got a good lead on an 05+ ARB bumper? My wife got cut off in traffic and we are going to replace it.

I'd recommend a bumper like pelfreybilt or something but an arb can be had at four wheel parts or most off road places. Haven't seen any used ones pop up lately

Interesting. Why pelfreybilt and not ARB? The only bad thing I have heard about ARB is the approach angles aren't the best. I don't plan on doing rock crawling, so I didn't see it as a huge downside.

Im interested to hear another opinion.

Nothing wrong with arb I'm just not a fan. Can't get any custom options on them since they're mass produced. If you want something different any of the bumper guys on here will do it no problem. I like the looks of the pelfreybilt and have seen them up close, great craftsmanship and from other things I've bought from Tyler at pelfreybilt great customer service.

ARB also doesn't have any recovery points. However, I think the consensus on this site is that the best bumpers for our trucks are either ARB or Pelfrey, as far as quality and everything goes.

Good points. Looks like price is close to the same. I'll update with pictures when I get insurance taken care of. Hopefully it will happen this week.

I have an All-Pro APEX bumper. I love mine and it has all of the recovery points, headlights hoops, etc.

Patrick, do you have a friend (just got involved in FCPD's process?) who has a silver DCSB? A guy in one of my classes at Mason saw my truck and we started talking and he mentioned a friend who had OME and an APEX bumper...sounded familiar...
