I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I saw two lifted Tacomas in the center of Bellingham today. One was white and the other was black. The black one had a satoshi with lights in the grill and the lift was very high esp in the rear. Anybody here???

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Always screws me all up. I was a zombie this morning. One more hour of sunlight after work, which means it is time to start working on the truck! Some people do spring cleaning, i do spring modding. I think its time to finish up my custom grills, do a little suspension and electrical work, the list never ends.

Fall Back always screws with my head more than the Spring Ahead does. I either get too much sleep or I'm waking up three hours before I need to be at work instead of just two.

I can't wait to wash my frame, pull my bumper, sand the frame to bare steel and recoat it.

Once that is done, I'll be trying to figure out how to mount up my FJ skid plates and modify them accordingly to make a solid bash piece that bolts through the bumper to provide 100% bash protection without anything getting stuck between the engine skid and the bumper (protect the radiator mostly)

I've heard that you can do it but you need to run at least 2 of your 4 cats.

I'm planning on the U-spec long tube headers and deleting two of my cats. The place I bring my truck for inspection didn't check my emissions in the last 3 years I've been there. Gotta find the right shop

They don't check emissions in ma, only check to make sure you don't have any obd codes.

I've been doing some homework on it and I know deleting the rear two will pass. I wanted to get equal length long tubes, but I am not sure if I can bolt the cats between the headers and y pipe. I am assuming all the rubber biscuit mounts would be off.

Also considering buying just a muffler and long tubes and take it to a custom exhaust shop to pipe the rest and re-route it. I have no idea what that would cost.

I have been hustled by my inspection shop so many times. I've gotten 3 inspections in the past 6 mo and they have never passed me the first time.

Some inspection shops are lenient some are pricks. I had a beater before in ma and they passed me every time even for some ridiculous stuff

    Seriously?

Mine is starting to smell more like a non-emissions-compliant engine haha. I think my cats are shot and I have quite a few exhaust leaks.... :anonymous:

I really need new headers. And I really need new header studs in the engine block.

Having the O2 simulators would be nice too because I keep throwing a PO420
