    yup, it appears to be a separate rainfly with a sewn in clear panel. I'm assuming the tent would need to be customized for a zippered (?) panel to align with the rainfly.
    I would guess either a hood or rainier

    I will have more info this week. It does though go through the tent and fly. We can also do a zip panel in the tent but you have to take the fly off.

    im also looking for a tent, something that will allow me to camp In a range of temperatures. We camp in the mountains and as we found last may, the damn tent froze and i didn't have a heater.

    is there any specific one thats better /.?
