The new Camaro is a great looking car. Also, love the new engine. I hope they bring the z28 to market (they won't).

mines a 69 with a 427 in it, 454's are better in a truck.. low revving motors even when built mildly

also 69 came with 396 ss versions 70 ofcourse has either 454 SS or 396 SS

base v8 I believe was 307 in 69 not sure I had a 69 malibu at one point and it was 307

I am a Mopar guy, I love the Challenger, but of those choices...I just feel more inspired by the Camaro. It supposedly handles a lot better...less mass to throw around.

I would prefer the Camaro Z28 when they come out with it, correct me if I am wrong but I believe I read it has 550hp.

    I voted Camaro.
But I might wait a year and see what else they come up with for it. Plus I need to win the lottery first.

Funny thing, I just sold my 02 SS to buy the new Tacoma. There were mixed feelings about that deal for sure.

Camaro heartbeat of America, Huh? So does that mean America has been dead for the last 8 years. Yup I had to say it. Ill stick with the car that could actually stay around for the last 45 years.

But I perfer the I already have.

The Corvette was never a muscle car as it was missing a key element of a muscle car, the back seat.

I agree. Corvette is a sports car, not a muscle car. JMO. Nice Mustang. I've owned a 67 and 68 Camaro, so I'm partial to the Chevy, but I have always loved Mustangs. Except the Mustang II in the 70's of course.

I picked the challenger, but do love the camaro. But when it comes to muscle cars id take any of the older models. I got a 71 oldsmobile cutlass with a rebuilt 350 and turbo 400 tranny that i just love.

The Camaro is sick I would pick that one.

    Performance
    • A 3.6L DI VVT V6 engine with a projected 300 hp and manual six-speed transmission is standard on LS and LT models. Choose the available six-speed automatic with TAPshift to achieve an estimated 26 mpg highway1
    • A 6.2L V8 with a projected 400 hp with six-speed automatic transmission with TAPshift includes Active Fuel Management technology to achieve 23 mpg highway1
    • For the top-of-the-line, the 6.2L V8 with manual six-speed transmission produces a projected 422 hp
    • Four-wheel independent suspension system, including a 4.5 link rear suspension
    • Variable-rate power steering with the rack mounted forward of the front axle for better weight balance and greater driver feel
    • Four-wheel disc brake systems with ABS standard on all models, including four-piston Brembo calipers on SS models
    • StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System with traction control standard on all models
    • Competitive/Sport modes for the Stabilitrak system offered on SS models, including launch control on SS models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission
    • Robust body structure and exceptional build quality
