Big thanks to Iven and Matt today. Ride is better than the 5100s set at 1.75" but what's weird is I got 2.5" of lift from the 5100s. The measurements came out just about identical. We tried the LCA method but it just was a pain in the ass.. Iven you da man!

I might fab up something like what Luka has, or the ones relentless makes. Or fab a bed rail bar that attaches to the to side rails and the front rail, and let it hang down from that. Not sure yet. Mine is just rolling around the back of my truck :D

I think leopards truck looks taller now. And I think he's planning to put spacers on the wheels which will look pretty damn good

Woke up early, and couldn't sleep.. Went outside to mount the hi-lift with the ATO (Armor Tech Off-Road) mounts.. Questions and observations..
    1. Installation was pretty easy. A hex key was very helpful keeping the backplate close to the front rail so I could get the screw to thread..
    2. Maybe I'm total over analyzing it, but where would be the "optimum" points to mount (in relation to the hi-lift itself) to have the least amount of stress on the rail? Should I move that forward one back, or even put the bottom one under the lifting point? or it's good to go?

I've noticed a lot of places that use CNC machines to cut out metal, are running the feed too fast producing an ugly cut. I think I've had to file the cuts on everything I've ordered so far.

the hi-lift mounts are spaced out enough to distribute the load on the rail, so it should be fine wherever you can fit it. As long as it's under 200lbs.

Good and comfortable. I had the bedrug on my Colorado. Mines would just stay wet for a long time cause I would keep stuff in my bed, and my bed cover would leak. Oh and for me, sand didnt come out super easily. Good for star gazing though lol.

So far I like it a lot.. I would say the firmness is in between stock and the billies set at 1.75" but gotta head down to Ka'ena point to test it out

Yes sir! Next weekend after recon, 1" bora spacers
Not too sure.. I'm not gonna be home for couple, days but I'll def get you the measurements this week.. I know middle of hub to fender is 22.5" and rear is 23.5"

    stuff...
They stripped the bolts for the skid? Is it because the skid did not line up because of the diff drop? When I did mine, the diff drop is supposed to come with drop blocks for the factory skid as well. I just clearance the skid with a one pound hammer and reinstalled the factory hardware.

Didn't notice any spacer extensions for the skid when we removed it. Iven thinks that they might have used power tools and misaligned the bolts when they replaced the skid which stripped the bolts and weakened the bolt heads. One head broke off as we were examining the skid plate alignment. The skid was skewed to one side and we found out the threads were stripped when we removed the skid. When we tightened the partially stripped bolt back in, the head broke off...hence the zip tie for now to hold the side up. Ivens gonna fix it when we do my suspension install...(Hopefully soon!) Waiting on the Icon shipment to get here...:D

Oh yeah...I plan on removing the differential spacers and back to stock when I do the suspension install. No Need! After reading on the forums that the differential drop is not really a requirement for 3" or less, I'm going sans DD... The skid won't have a problem with that either...:)

Oh, my toytec came with little spacers, about 1 cm and longer bolts to lower the skid. I don't have any problems with the diff drop. It only makes a slight improvement in cv angle, but it doesn't have any drawbacks except for the clearance with the skid. I'd leave it in if its already there, not worth the trouble to remove it, you won't gain anything going back to stock. Its not really a requirement for any lift, it just lowers the CV angle ever so slightly, hoping that your cvs will last longer.
