Hey guys, first post. I'm the Xterra that went with you guys today. Had a lot of fun. The burgers and sausage were fantastic!

I posted some blurry (and some not) pictures from today on my Smugmug page under "Xterra Adventures," found here:

    http://xcmtbr.smugmug.com/Cars/Xterra-Adventures/27547888_xHQSHg#!i=2956138888&k=fNHZtpr

Also, the invitation is always open to wheel with Nexterra. www.nexterra.org
We wheel at a place out in Sturbridge that is privately owned. If you show up, you just need to sign a waiver, and pay a $20 land use fee. It's a pretty nice place. We have Jeeps, Toyotas, and the occasional Raptor that go with us as well.

    Anyways, cheers,

    Jordan

I was at 18 then.... Lower down to 12 later on after getting stuck twice. .. It was pretty icy on that hill. It was a learning experience that's for sure.

Damn i wish i went. That hill must of been tricky with ice. Did cam just power through it? Lol.
It would have been nice to have someone which a winch out there. Stupid work! Made over double time today so i can't complain to much.

I stayed at 18. I'll have to go lower next time. I should also get a better compressor.

I usually limp my way back to the shell station near the on ramp to air up. But that is sketchy driving fast with no air in your tires. Next time i am in deep snow i want to try under 10 now that i have a full size spare.

Without beadlocks, that's generally frowned upon. We had a Wrangler go out and about with us once, and he peeled two tires off of the rims that way.

Is deep snow? Front wheels both times?

Well, no, not really. He slid into an icy rut and peeled both tires on the driver side.

That was a blast today! Especially the half hour to dig out that jeep... I know Fred and I had fun with that... Good learning experience!!! Can't wait to get out there again! I went through the goPro footage... Gonna take a while to dig out the gems, and found out I lost my computer charger. It's somewhere stupid...

Sad I didn't get any film of myself getting up that first hill. It's amazing how much that locker helps, and those tires. Lesson learned!
