    I have Avid sliders with kick outs and I love them. Avid is about 4 miles south of my house :D
    I use the rear kick out to step into my bed and my girls use the sliders themselves to climb into and out of my truck.

    Good to hear brotha... I might thumb trough a couple of your pictures to look at them. Do you use them to step up into your truck at all, or not?

    I mean I'm 6'1", but my wife is shorter... Just wondering if she would have any trouble...

    I added an edit in my last post because I realized I didn't answer your question. I'm a little over 6'2" and don't need them but my lady is 5'5 at best.

    Does anyone in here regret getting a drop bracket lift? And if so why?

    Trying to plan the lift I'll be getting this summer, and I'm looking at the RCD 4.5" lift.

    Haha, just read back a few pages and you will find your answer from a few of us. Not all of us installed the lift, but bought the truck with it. I don't say I hate it, but after all of the $ I've spent to make it what it is now, I would have gone about it differently if I could go back to a stock truck. It all comes down to how YOU want to use YOUR truck.

    Read about 10 pages back...seems its mainly the Pro Comp thats the issue? I wont be rock crawling thats for sure, so not an issue.

    Been really trying to find as much info as possible but it seems the RCD kit isn't that bad. Not the best ride obviously, but not as bad as pro comp.

    It's a constant topic round these parts man :p
    It's the PC coils that are shit as are the blocks that these lifts use to lift the rear.

    Question for you Jon... This guy bought a set of sliders, but decided on side steps, so he's interested in trading... But he said he needs side steps that mount to the frame... Wtf?!?! Do those even exist?

    I mean I know mine mount to the body, but do you know of any side steps that mount to the frame? Or is this guy just insane?

    I had all pro bolt on sliders which mounted to the frame...I traded for a set of avid offroad steps..that mount to body. .never seen any that mount to the frame except on a chevy...the sliders actually got in my way which is why I traded for the step bars which I love

    I've seen them on bigger trucks but never on a Taco man. I'm sure they could be fabricated and welded on. Nfab is the only ones I've seen aftermarket with steps under the slider but are not a good idea for a few reasons.

    I'm still not sure which way I'll go. Its really gonna depend on how much/what type of offroading I'll end up doing I suppose. I got plenty of time to figure it out haha

    Go with your original idea of Avid weld on sliders with kickouts.. you will not regret it! These beasts are some of the best available for the price. There is a wait time, but still worth it.

    Nothing that a good MT setup cannot handle. Or If you've got the $$, LT tacomas are seriously good all around. This is one of those investments that you do and never ever ever sell the truck.

    Yeah I'd love LT but I dont do enough hardcore offroading to justify the large expense...it would be pretty sweet though haha.
