I really has, I was thinking about it the other day and was surprised. My parents always told me time seemed to speed up the older they got. I guess they were right.:notsure:

Afternoon Rob. :anonymous: nope... didn't get up until 3:30 this afternoon  Had a wicked headache and upset stomach, so fed the girls and let them in and out a couple of times, but didn't get up for good until then. Had :washing: to do, so, didn't get out to enjoy the day :( Still not feeling 100%

    How's your day going?

I didn't want the coach to stop because I figured it would mean less time to stop at the geyser basins which was my main interest. I don't think the pics that I missed out on would have been that good anyways. Doing landscape shots of snow on sunny days doesn't usually work out.

    Parents? Right? Not possible

Just me nose and cheeks got burned...too much glare off of hte snow and water

Sorry you're not feeling well, hope its nothing serious

Sorry to read that. :( Hope you're feeling better soon. Shame to get sick when the weather is turning nice.

Going OK. Slept 'til almost noon. Just been being lazy; playing with the dogs, watching TV, and surfing TW while Kristi naps on the couch she just went upstairs and I think she's going to Anchorage shopping. I don't feel like dealing with Anchorage and I don't like putting Loki in his kennel for long periods, so I'll stay home with the pups. Hope Loki doesn't give Mitch and Meghen a hard time when he has to go back to spending 4 to 6 hrs a day in his kennel. Since he's been here, because of how Kristi and my schedules work out, he hasn't spent more than 1 to 2 hrs in there in the mornings. I think Bear and he are gonna miss each others company.

    :anonymous:

Thanks. Yeah, sucks when the weather is nice outside.

when Zoie was younger and kenneled when I went out, i didn't like going out for long periods of time. Now that they are both loose in the house, I don't worry as much. Loki sounds like a good pup, that he'll adjust just fine. He's definitely gonna miss his buddy. Sundays are good days to be lazy. How old is Loki now?

10 months ... And you're right, he's a good pup and will be a fine dog. Putting him in the kennel probably bothers me more than him.

:anonymous: :gossip:I'm a softy about that, don't tell

the kennel can help prevent bad habits and as long as it's big enough, he probably likes it

I'm sure you are right, but he seems awful ready to come out when I get home in the morning. That's probably the normal "glad to see you" I expect. But when I take my naps during the work week, Bear sleeps on the foot of the bed and Loki has been laying next to the bed. He's never woke me once the two weeks he's been here, but as soon as I wake up he's right there and stands up. Almost as if he "guards" while I'm sleeping. I'm not sure he still needs the kennel. :notsure: He does the same when we're both here and when Kristi is here while I'm working.

When I raised my first guide dog puppy - she was supposed to be in a kennel at night :anonymous: I just put her on a tie down next to my bed and I swear she never moved at night. She'd just curl up on the little rug next to my bed. She did go in a kennel when I was away from home though. She was always glad to get out (as were the other pups that have been kennel trained). Dogs mature at different ages.... Ollie and Zoie were left unkenneled about a year old but Ms Annie was kenneled until she was almost two.... she'd get into things. Shepards are smart dogs and he's probably old enough to be left alone a few hours.

    :playball: Hi B
