Its an honest question. You can drive over rotopax, empty or full with no damage.

 

In the process of turning my undercover tonneau cover into a pop up tent.

So far Iv got the lift mechanism done and started on the bed/storage this afternoon.

Going to make a slide out table from under the bed that will also double as a leaf to turn the single bed into a double when the lady friend wants to join (hopefully tackle that next weekend)

I'm planning on making the walls out of waterproof canvas attached by Velcro and then zippers for the rear door that will double as an awning when attached to some poles.

Cant wait for some nice weather to try it all out!

 

I 'm just saying I've never tried it and I'm not sure what situation you would be in where you might run over it

Cool man. Can't help but notice your half way to having a small pool table too. All you need is a few holes and some green.

 

I believe it has more to do with durability than situational practicality. But what do i know, I just sell them

The Scepter MFC is designed for and used by the US and Canadian Armed Forces , I think they got the reliability thing sorted out , having said that I'm not trying to convince anybody either way as I have no vested interest in what anyone else decides to buy .



For me , $120 gets me 10 US gallons of gas storage with 2 / 5 US gallon Scepters , to do that in Rotopax at 5 / 2 US gallon cans is $325

All true, absolutely. With my new and reduced fuel economy I've been considering a "long range fuel tank". In my case it will be a "regular range fuel tank". All extra gallons welcome.

265 gets you ten gallons as well, in the 4 gallon configuration so there are more options, as with anything, no product will meet everyones needs. For me, rotopax is a cleaner install, storage off the truck is simpler in the shed, and the expandability is virtually infinite.

 

What is it like to pour the fuel out of the Rotopax into your tank? seems kinda awkward shape. What I do like is how they secure. Use the small tanks on ATVs, they don't come loose, and yet are quick to deploy.

It isn't bad, with the siphon filler I don't even remove it from the mount. Just squeeze the handle a few times and it starts filling.

 

Sup y'all i was doing some searching and stumbled upon these water cans, exactly like the ones i've seen at my unit as well as basic training and prob everywhere military base wise i'd bet.

The company is LCI which as you may not know, they employ blind people to make their products and they do a damn good job as well. Through their actual website, they are about 30$ cheaper than buying their cans through Amazon shockingly.

I picked up 2 @ 24.99$ so for 10 gallons of water, i figured they'd be worth a shot.
