Today I finished installing the front half of my OME / Total Chaos Suspension. I also installed the braided brake lines. Tomorrow I have to ct out the old rear leafs, bleed the brakes and get her aligned.

    Small lift and a topper!
Did a bunch of new (to me) car maintenance!

    Changed rear diff oil
    Changed transfer case oil
    Changed manual transmission fluid
Couldn't change front diff, the fill plug was stripped... Have to take that one in.

Ran seafoam through the brake booster line to clean injectors
    Removed MAF and cleaned it
Replaced air filter with Toyota OEM
Replaced several rivets on the topper's back door (was flopping around)
Greased the tailgate latches for smoother operation
Removed all of the crappy trailer hitch wiring (will redo properly)

    Washed everything exterior
Cleaned interior w/ Tuff Stuff and 303 Aerospace
Painted stock alloy wheels w/ Duplicolor Graphite (looks great!)

    Left to do:
Fix manual window crank that has a seized knob
Fix e-brake switch that is a little too sensitive (doesn't always switch off when the ebrake is disengaged, though it will if you wiggle the lever)
Flush and replace coolant w/ Toyota OEM

Wooo, what a day! Feel like I really know this truck better now.

Gotta stay busy! Its always easier for me to get things done on the vehicles when its all at once. Just pick a saturday, go over to my shop, and tear it up for as long as I can. Having a kegerator helps. ;)

I'll probably have at least one or two more days like this as I prep the new truck. Need to do a new hitch, air helper springs, etc.

last 2 years, my mom worked at my high school. That meant I didnt have to pay the 50 bucks to get a junior or senior parking permit, i got a free faculty one instead! So me and my taco got to park anywhere we wanted.
