Sorry for the hyper stylization, had to brighten it a lot. Gets dark quick lol. Heres the cab overhang. 79F85A01-EABB-4946-BEA1-55E3DAEE5024_zps_e363de7f26e60766b82549b3aadbe40a9db20f9b.jpg

Are there any pictures of the black butte folded away and stowed.. It seems as if it would still have a big presence when taken apart due to the metal framework ....or am I missing something here

Ahh... Found the YouTube clip that answers everything!

I'm tempted.... Just an RTT or an 79 awning/black butte combo.... Comes about to about the same price

Word on the street is he will only begin shipping at the end of the group buy(mar 31). Then shipping will occur in order of those that purchased.

This is correct. I talked to Bobby a day or two ago, and he said all tents will ship out after the group buy is over. That way it will give people a chance to combine shipping with others.

built the begining of my roof rack and mounted my LED bar on it. once i get the tent on there and see what kind of room i have left to deal with i will add some expanded metal in the front, some sides, and protection over the light bar.

Did he say anything about the Anti-condensation mats shipping out? I didn't buy a tent. I imagine him being able to ship these out faster, right?

This is correct. There are a few reasons for this.
    1. Tents start landing last week of March for GB with 2 more landing in April.
    2. There are people that want combined shipping so we are giving them an opportunity to find other people to ship with as this worked out good last year on saving even more $.
    3. Staying on top of it all and making sure we ship correctly. With all of the ones going together and separate. Last year was better shipping than previous year as we had 38 damage tents in the GB. (yes this is a lot) It makes it tough to reship when you do not have more. So this year we planned ahead and have a few hundred coming in.
    4. We also have quite a few that are needing the extra time waiting for tax returns.
We do appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy these products as much as we do.

    Best regards,

    CVT

    Thanks for the explanation, Bobby!

Do we have an idea of when "local pickup" tents will be available? Also starting in April?

Do you have a side shot, curious how and where you mounted it above the doors.

    Thanks

I'm seriously considering jumping on this, since I am new on my build I have a few questions?
I'm stock all the way around at the moment on my prerunner and I plan to use a bed rack mounting. Upgrades in the future but not now unless I have to.

-Anybody have experience issues with the weight on stock leafs?
-How much overhang should I consider acceptable front to rear?
-Any Central NC buyers? I'm in GSO and would like to share shipping if possible.

I passed on the link to this thread to a guy on craigslist looking for a used RTT. He will most likely buy through it but asked me if I could see if anyone in Colorado is looking to upgrade and sell there old RTT.

Shoot me a PM if anyone in Colorado or a surrounding state is looking to sell an older model to upgrade. I have no affiliation with the guy but thought I would be nice and try to hook him up . He didn't specify a size or model so anything works.

Is there a "minimum height" the tent needs to be mounted? I know there are some issues with the annex and water leakage if there is too much material folded at the base, and I believe there were some issues (possibly older model) with locking the ladder in to place.

So is there a minimum height that the RTT (Mt. Shasta) needs to be mounted in order to make it work correctly?

Second question - does the GB cover everything on the website, or just tents and accessories? How about garage lift systems and Baja racks?
