What about a local spring shop just build you a custom set?

 

I find it hard to believe they would charge you (toytec) $400 to ship a set of springs.
All pro shipped my bumper from corona,CA for like $200 and i'm positive it weighs more than a set of springs.

Thats the exact amount of extra shipping cost when I added them, I tried to do it several different ways and that number kept coming back up. I might just call them to clarify this shipping. Yeah, I was born and raised about 30 minutes from grants pass Or. I wish that I was close to them now for this haha.

 

Also get a requote to ship to a business if you hadn't done that.
Find one of your buddys that work somewhere where you can pick them up. Will save you a few $$$.

And yes. As Hodge said. DSM as well.

 

My allpro expo springs were about $170 to ship to Charleston. Might be another option if you're not set on the Dakars

 

I got quoted for $150 shipped from wheelers in grants pass, Or. I will check august ga businesses because its just across the river for me and see if I can do better. I would like to get the lift done by the time summer rolls back around, so that gives me a little time to watch for some better deals so I can save a few hundred dollars ( hopefully). Thanks for the businesses shipping, great idea.

 

also...when you are absolutely ready to order, lmk. If you are looking at the springs on the link that I sent you, I am looking at the same thing for my "02" doublecab.
I have a connection here in easley and I might be able to get us a deal on combined shipping.
I'm in no hurry like you but I do need springs soon.

 

I would be getting them for a 2nd gen, but it shouldn't matter what it fits. They both should be close in shipping. I will let you know when I go to buy and I'll check for the shipping hear also. You are about 2 1/2 hours from me.

Thanks Cham, sounds like a few of us are wanting these springs. Will get in touch with them shortly and find out what they can do. BTW, when and where is the best trout fishing in your neck of the woods. Might as well get a belly full also with the trip.
