I want sliders because I've bounced off a tree thankfully didn't do any damage to the fender I've also got hung up and managed to get a dent in my rocker and my door and I know with sliders I wouldn't have to worry as much

 

being that i have the long bed i smashed the crap out of
my hitch and also took out my 7-pin connector aswell.

 

Actually, I'm noticing that two 2WD guys are saying sliders first as well (Mike and Tim, from his experience when he was 2WD) and two of you (Jason and Greg) are saying bumper.

While, I still think sliders are a good idea, given Chris's penchant for sticking himself, the bumper and winch probably would be more actively useful. But like Tim says, sliders are cheap insurance.

 

I'm pretty sure Hudson is closer to Tampa than it is Ocala. It's basically right next to New Port Richey.

 

That rock anchor I got? That thing stayed planted in the ground. I really want an off-road bumper of some sort with recovery points on it so I can take that piece of garbage off my shit. Hehe, ask Colson about me plowing a furrow with it when I went up a hill backwards.

Not it's intended use, to be sure. I have yet to pull a trailer with it. But I do have to give it a little credit, it's taken all the abuse I've subjected it to and it hasn't really moved thus far. It's done a good job protecting my bumper too. I just wish it didn't hang down so far.

 

Your right it is closer to Tampa and it's about two hours from hardrock

 

alfuh, I say get bumpers, now the question is what kind? and will you go for a front or rear first?

 

lol guys, Ill be getting a front bumper from Brute Force and in combination an 8K lbs winch. Lookin to get the hybrid bumper with headlight guards and stinger hoop

 

How do you order the hybrid bumper as far as i saw on their
site the only have the full plated bumpers??

You have to call billy directly l. But in doing so you might get a good deal on it. I got $100 off cause he had an old style plate left over and i told him i would use it.

I have and i am not fond of it. I don't remember if i saw one with the stinger hoop, but there is a red taco that has the full headlight guard.

 

Oh, i wheeled with these 2 after work for a few minutes. The Willy's went through everything and pulled me out once. It is a beast.

We had a 56 willy's for hunting & that thing would go through just about anything. Still had the original 4 cyl. & 6 volt system.
