2. Taco7000 SB kit please and thank you

 

Hey guys here's what I've got so far:

The kit install itself was fairly simplistic, even for a novice like myself. I would rate this install a 5/10 on difficulty since there is some drilling and electrical work required.

Personally, I used Gorilla Glue to make sure the LED's stuck good and well to the bed rails, but that's just my OCD kicking in. Definitely make sure the rails are dry before sticking your LED's to them.

The kit works great and I think Tacodane has a good product on his hands. With a few tweeks and grammar checks to the instructions, this kit will be complete.

Here's some more pics of some of the install. I'll have more for you guys later.





As you can see I still have some finishing touches to do and loom tubing to put over the open wires.

Also in case the issue of the strip not sticking I will have 3m double sided tape to send

 

So the leds should be arriving on Tuesday, same with most of the other supplies as well.

I actually had a member stop by to pick up an item that I sold and he had the bed light on his I thought it was a cool deal his was set up when you open the doors it lit up the rear deck area underneath i am going with the blue LED lights myself great write up though thank you for sharing

 

Another update. Got my wire and loom tubing so kits will be begin to be made tomorrow

I'll do the best I can.lol like I said lights should be here Tuesday and kits "should" be ready to ship sometime next week.

 

Still waiting on lights. Most of the kit is ready just not the lights.

 

Have some unfortunate news. Lights I ordered are not what I should have gotten. Working hard on getting what I need to get these going. Thanks for every ones patience

As of now im working with my seller to get my refund and im currently look for a new seller for lights. the light strips may change but will stay 5050 smd leds. if you have any questions or concerns please pm me thanks.

To be honest man Idk. With my original seller screwing me and making me pay to send the lights back and then order new ones. Its just depends how quickly the lights get back to the seller

 

For this reason is why I didn't except payment ahead and wait til kits would be ready. I wish it didn't happen but I wasn't going to send out shitty lights in these kits.

Also since there is more time to do things with kits I'm going to connect the inline fuse and some other connectors to save on install time. And make the how to a little shorter. More to come since I have time to burn since there was a light supply issue. I apologize to everyone waiting.

I've basically have everything for the kits just besides the lights.lol when I check the quality of the strips, the first thing I though was I can't sell kits with these lights there crap. But if anyone doesn't want to wait I can take you off the list. I understand the inconvenience this can be
